Hi Elaine,
We’re on holiday just now and I have had an exciting hour or so stocking up on all things Chinese at a Chinese Supermarket. Having purchased Doubanjiang and Douchi amongst many other things I made this recipe (although I couldn’t find Garlic Shoots) and I just wanted to tell you how much we loved it-Yummy!

Thankyou very much for your advice.

Paul:-)

Hi,Paul
Sure, you could boil the whole meat, and remember to take it out after boiling and let it cool before cutting it into slices, otherwise it will burn your hands easily😂

I intend to cook this dish soon. I have a Pork Belly roasting joint in the freezer. From your description I assume that I have to unroll it and slice this into chunks before I boil it, then finely slice before stir frying.
Could I keep the meat whole to boil?

Thankyou,

Paul:-)

Thanks for your lovely information. Now I know it is ok to use Gochujang for personal twice cooked pork belly.
