These look yummy! I plan to make them this weekend. I have a question about the 3 cups of cabbage — how is this measured, before or after chopping? Seems like a lot of cabbage, much more than in your photo — ???

In reply to Dave. Hi Dave, the ginger is used for scallion and ginger water. So it is not used in the filling directly. Sesame seeds are used in the dipping sauce to improve the aroma.

Hi Elaine, in the recipe for the sauce, the ingredients list doesn’t agree with the how-to-do-it description. Use sesame seeds (in pix and instructions) or sesame oil (ingredients)? Also, ginger isn’t in the ingredients – use it? How much?

Seems like the ginger and scallion whites should be chopped. Doesn’t say so, and the picture shows them unchopped.
